            Abstract

The article advocates for a Holistic Point of View, which recognizes the interconnectedness of all things and the need to treat the whole system, rather than just its parts. It highlights the impact of human actions on the environment and emphasizes the importance of preserving the balance of natural processes. The article draws from various sciences and acknowledges the historical and evolutionary processes that have shaped life on Earth. It also discusses the negative impacts of industrialism in India and argues that modern industrialism is rooted in western culture, which includes exploitative colonialism, resource-intensive technology, and an economic system geared towards wealth creation but not its equitable distribution. The author suggests that a holistic approach to development is needed, which takes into account the social, economic, and environmental costs of progress and focuses on the just distribution of wealth, investment in health, education, development of local resources, and local initiatives.
