      Return of the Great Indian Bustard in Maharashtra

            Abstract

            The authors have conducted a study of the Bustard Sanctuary of Maharashtra and analysed the habitat, breeding patterns, threats of other fauna,human occupation and other factors critical for the conservation of the Great Indian Bustard. They recommend long term habitat planning & management with due consideration to the socio-economic aspects as well as maintaining the ecological balance in the region.
