Spiritual Function : Mathematical Expression and Application of Spiritual Activity’s Process

    Ming Tian (2023)
The process of a life’s spiritual activity can be studied with block diagram and vector diagram by using mathematical methods of set, function and complex number. The flash frequency of a life is a specific number associated with the subject of the life, the object of his spiritual activity and the specific moment. The rate of flash utility is much greater than the speed of light. The first flash of one’s dualistic perception changes the object of his dualistic perception. Therefore, the cosmogony is directly related to the spiritual activities, and the account of cosmic origin in Genesis shouldbe paidattentionto bythe scientific community.

      Review text

I do not really understand the purpose of this article, and I have numerous objections to the text.

The mathematics is quite basic and elementary, and does not involve errors. But I do not understand what exactly the statement "a spiritual activity is composed of one flash in series with another" is based on. The reference to 'Mathematical Expression of the Relationship between Spirit and Matter', without offering any further explanation, I find rather insufficient.

But more significant than the mathematical instrument is my bewilderment at seeing how a philosophical - and even theological - issue is dramatically simplified.
The problem of perception, which constantly involves philosophers of knowledge and neuroscientists, is not touched upon at all, except to justify the block diagram in Fig.1.
The enormous theological flaw also lies in the apodictic belief that there is an account of cosmic origin in the book of Genesis, which should be paid attention to by the scientific community. It reverts back to a concordist view of the biblical text, which is untenable to this day.

A confusing and very sloppy text, excessively brief and superficial.

I would advise against its publication or, if one really wants to be indulgent towards the author, that it be submitted to another referee.
